The Beginning
Born from Fire, Built on Family
In 2010, Chef Amir Raza returned to Lahore after training in Istanbul and Kabul, carrying a vision: to create a restaurant where the open flame of Pakistani street BBQ meets the refinement of fine dining. With a single charcoal grill and his mother's karahi recipe, he opened a tiny spot on M.M. Alam Road.
Word spread quickly. Lahoris lined up for his seekh kabab — hand-minced, perfectly spiced, kissed by ember. Within two years, Ember & Spice had outgrown its first home and moved to a larger space in Gulberg, where it remains our flagship today.
Our second branch in DHA Phase 5 opened in 2019, bringing the same fire-driven cuisine to a new neighborhood with an even more intimate, upscale atmosphere.
